Rice with Healthy Calabrese Sausage, Peppers and Onion





  • 1 package of Sadia pepperoni sausage
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 large onion cut into medium cubes
  • 1 red pepper, chopped into medium cubes
  • 1 yellow pepper, chopped into medium cubes
  • 1 green pepper, chopped into medium cubes
  • 6 cups of cooked white rice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley to taste
  • Chopped chives to taste

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the film from the Sadia pepperoni sausages and cut into thin slices.
  2. In a large pan, add the oil and heat over high heat.
  3. When heated, place the sausage slices and let them fry for 8 minutes or until they are golden.
  4. Add the onion, peppers and sauté for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add the rice and mix well.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper and finish with parsley and chives.
  7. Serve immediately!
